It has been twelve months since our community pulled together in the height of the 2012 Murrumbidgee flood. Like other residents and businesses in Wagga Wagga’s CBD, Fitzpatricks Real Estate were among the hundreds of people who were busy preparing their properties in the event the Murrumbidgee River breached or overtopped the levee bank. Many residents of Wagga Wagga and the Riverina were not so fortunate. As a tribute to all affected in the 2010 and 2012 floods, we have created these before and during sliders to show the wide spread the devastation during March 2012. We hope we won’t see any images like this again for a long time.

We don’t have aerial imagery of the 2010 floods, we imagine they would have looked much the same. But we do have a gallery of images from the ground, click here to see them. Our thoughts go out to all the Aussies up north experiencing flooding of late.
