It’s a wet start to March here in Wagga Wagga, but don’t let the miserable weather stand in your way of getting out and seeing what’s on in Wagga this month.

Flix in the Stix
Saturday 3 March
The 2012 Optus Flix in the Stix tour is coming. Originally planned to be at the Wagga Music Bowl, due to the current weather conditions it will now be indoors at the Wagga Civic Theatre. Flix combines the screening of its collection of award winning short films with music from the highly acclaimed Australian singer songwriter, James Reyne performing live. Also featuring special guest and much celebrated Australian bush poet, Peter Mace. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Civic Theatre Booking Office or at the door on the night.

Twilight by the Lagoon which was planned from Friday 2nd March has  been cancelled due to inclement.

 

Wagga Holiday and Travel Show
Saturday 3 March
A great way to avoid the rain this weekend is to head inside to the Wagga Holiday  and Travel Show at Bolton Park Stadium. Be inspired by a tropical overseas holiday or something a little closer to home, it will all be here at the Holiday and Travel. There will be plenty of experienced travel agents on hand to give you the best advice to help plan your next trip.

 

Farmers Market
Saturday 10 March from 8.00 am – 1.00 pm
Held on the second Saturday of every month, with over 30 stalls selling  quality gourmet and organic products.
Where: Wollundry Lagoon, in front of the Civic Theatre.

 

Urban Harvest Fruit and Vegetable Swap
Saturday 17 March from 8.00 am
Bring along your excess produce and swap it for something you have not grown. No money, strictly swap only.
8am to 9am, first and third Saturday of each month. Wesley Complex, 19 Johnston Street.

 

HomeXpo, Lifestyle and Outdoor Adventure Show
Friday 30 March – Sunday 1 April
A huge variety of displays and demonstrations including kitchens, bathrooms, interior design, lifestyle, campers, caravans, boats, outdoor living, pools, spas, 4WD’s, cars, wine and food and much much more.
Where: Wagga Showgrounds

Fri – 12 noon to 5pm
Sat and Sun 10am to 5pm
