Agent Profile – Helen Woodhouse

As someone with a strong reputation as one of Wagga’s most passionate, successful and hardworking agents, no one can dispute that Helen Woodhouse is a dedicated professional with proven results.

Growing up on a large cattle grazing property in the western districts of Victoria with parents Neville and Alison and siblings Clare and David, Helen made the move to Wagga when she was 19 to pursue study and a career in the legal industry. Finding law and conveyancing was not really her passion, Helen made her way into real estate, starting out as a personal assistant for six years before striking out on her own as an independent agent. After two years, Helen was named 2012’s REI Young Agent of the Year for NSW, going on to win the Australian Real Estate Awards Rookie of the Year for 2013.

Joining Fitzpatricks Real Estate in 2014, and recently appointed a Director in July 2016, Helen’s passion for providing outstanding service and the very best marketing for her clients is the driving force behind her success in real estate.

Helen and her husband Ben, an electrician, have enjoyed buying, building and renovating homes in Wagga for the past 10 years, and when she’s not selling houses you’ll often see her out with friends and family, at the gym, playing water polo or touch football or pounding the pavement with her new hobby, running.

It’s drawing on her own experiences of buying, selling, building and renovating that Helen uses to tailor her service, keeping clients fully informed throughout a sales campaign.

Helen’s willingness to provide personalised service to clients extends to buyers as well as vendors. Aware that the process of purchasing a home can be daunting, Helen goes to great lengths to educate and assist buyers.

I have a genuine desire to help people – whether it be buying or selling or just advising people – the ability to make the real estate process less stressful for people is a great feeling.
